Ra sent Sekhmet to destroy rebellious humanity. She waded through blood, unable to stop killing. To save the survivors, Ra flooded the fields with 7,000 jars of beer dyed red. Sekhmet drank, thinking it was blood, and awoke peaceful—her destructive rage ended.
