About

Moses is one of the most significant figures in the Bible, the prophet who led the Israelites out of Egyptian slavery and received the Ten Commandments from God on Mount Sinai. His story spans from being hidden in a basket among the reeds to standing before Pharaoh demanding freedom for his people.

With his brother Aaron at his side, Moses confronted the might of Egypt, calling down the ten plagues that would break Pharaoh's will. He parted the Red Sea, provided water from rocks, and manna from heaven during forty years of wandering in the wilderness.

Moses represents liberation from oppression, the covenant between God and humanity, and the burden of leadership that comes with divine calling.

Famous Story

When Moses encountered the burning bush that was not consumed, God called him to free the Israelites. Despite his protests that he was not eloquent, Moses accepted his mission and confronted Pharaoh with the words: 'Let my people go.'
