About

Sir Galahad is the purest knight of the Round Table, son of Lancelot and destined from birth to achieve the Holy Grail. While his father was the greatest knight in earthly terms, Galahad surpassed him through spiritual perfection.

Born of Lancelot and Elaine of Corbenic through magical circumstances, Galahad was raised in a nunnery, untouched by the sins of the world. When he came to Camelot, he sat in the Siege Perilous—the seat that destroyed any unworthy knight who tried it—proving his divine destiny.

Galahad alone achieved the full vision of the Holy Grail, and upon doing so, his pure soul ascended directly to heaven. He represents the ideal of spiritual perfection, the knight who succeeded where all others failed because his heart was completely pure.

Famous Story

When Galahad sat in the Siege Perilous, letters of fire appeared: 'This is the siege of Galahad.' At that moment, all knew that the knight destined to achieve the Grail had come, and the great quest could finally begin.
