About

Atum is the primordial creator god of Heliopolis, the 'Complete One' who existed before creation and will exist after all things end. He emerged from the primordial waters of Nun and created the first gods—Shu and Tefnut—from himself.

As the setting sun, Atum represents completion, the end of the day's cycle, and the return to the source. He is both the beginning and the end, containing within himself all potential for creation.

Atum represents primordial completeness, the self-generating power of creation, and the cycle that returns all things to their origin.

Famous Story

Before anything existed, Atum stood alone on the first mound to emerge from chaos. He created Shu (air) and Tefnut (moisture) from himself, and from them came all other gods and creation. At the end of time, all will return to Atum's primordial unity.

If You Match

Your features carry the primordial completeness of Atum. There is self-contained wholeness in your appearance—the look of one who contains within themselves everything needed for creation.
